Lando Norris has shared a lighthearted update on a nose injury he picked up following his victory at the 2025 British Grand Prix. While celebrating his first home win at Silverstone, the McLaren driver attempted to climb the pit wall to greet fans when a photographer accidentally collided with him, striking his face. Norris was seen clutching his nose and was quickly led away from the area, bringing an abrupt end to his celebrations.
This isn’t the first time Norris has suffered a nose injury. Back in 2024, prior to the Miami Grand Prix, he sustained a minor cut on his nose during a boat party in Amsterdam after a mishap involving broken glass. That incident also gained viral attention on social media, but Norris reflected positively on both experiences, calling them memorable. He even joked that every time he looks in the mirror, his nose serves as a reminder of good times.
Speaking to reporters before the Belgian Grand Prix, Norris confirmed that his injury from Silverstone is healing well and was treated more professionally than his previous one. Though disappointed to miss out on sharing the special moment on the pit straight with his fans, he expressed gratitude for the experience overall. He emphasized that moments like these—despite the mishap—are special parts of his racing journey.
Norris said the two-week break between races was perfectly timed for his recovery and mental reset. He spent one week relaxing with friends and another preparing for the next round in Belgium. The pause, he admitted, was much needed, especially following the emotional and physical highs of his Silverstone triumph. This downtime allowed him to refocus and approach the Spa weekend with renewed energy.
Despite the recent win and media buzz, Norris was quick to remind everyone that past victories mean little once the race weekend begins. He explained that in Formula 1, success is short-lived, and performance is judged afresh each race. His focus is fully on delivering strong results in Belgium, and he stressed that past achievements won’t influence the next three days of competition on track.
